Motorcycle training in the UK, made simple
Learning to ride in the UK follows a clear path set by the DVSA. Almost everyone starts with Compulsory Basic Training — a one-day course that lets you ride a 125 on the road with L-plates. From there, riders take their Module 1 and Module 2 tests, and those aged 24 and over can go straight to a full licence through the Direct Access Scheme.
ThrottleReady brings certified providers into one place. Each instructor and school declares their DVSA certifications, lists the courses they teach and is rated by learners who trained with them — so you can choose your training on something more than a search-engine ranking.
